Madison Avenue Scent Debuts at Bond No. 9

Bond No. 9, with a location at 45 Main Street in Sag Harbor, has announced it has created the world’s first shopping scent — named Madison Avenue, after New York’s most celebrated street of boutiques. The scent is from the fragrance family of Fresh Chypre, with notes of apple, bergamot essence, blackcurrant, rose essence, jasmine, magnolia essence, patchouli essence, ambroxan and praline.

The scent, which will launch in April, will be available at all Bond No. 9 New York boutiques, as well as Saks Fifth Avenue nationwide, select Nordstrom locations, Harrods UK, and at The price is $300 for 100ml bottle; $200 for a 50ml bottle.

For Bond No. 9’s fresh and lively Summer ’16 scent, the company will celebrate the world’s most famous island, home to the world’s most celebrated symbol of freedom with its Liberty Island scent, which will launch in June. From the fragrance family of Fruity Floral, Liberty Island has notes of bergamot essence, mandarin essence, blackcurrant, orange blossom, jasmine, marshmallow and musk, and will retail for $295 for 100ml and $220 for 50ml.

Easter at Baron’s Cove

Baron’s Cove, 31 West Water Street in Sag Harbor, will celebrate Easter this Sunday, March 27 with a traditional Sunday Roast featuring lamb or beef, served with maple carrots, smashed parsnips, roasted fingerling potatoes and local kale — in addition to its a la carte menu. At 10 a.m., and again at 1 p.m., Baron’s Cove will have a traditional children’s Easter Egg Hunt on the lawn. The special menu will be offered from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A La Carte & A La Rozzi for Easter at 1770 House

The 1770 House Restaurant & Inn, 143 Main Street in East Hampton, will host Easter Sunday dinner on March 27 starting at 5 p.m. with an a la carte menu crafted by Chef Michael Rozzi.

Chef Rozzi signals spring with Easter celebration specials such as sweet pea soup with crab, tarragon and crisp speck; asparagus salad with North Fork duck egg, spring onion and baby mustard greens; natural lamb chops with rosemary, black garlic, young heirloom potatoes and roasted ramps; roasted Texas Wagyu prime rib; and maple-cured Berkshire pork chop with smoked local apple, spiced sweet potato and slow cooked greens.
