Three of Alison Burke’s favorite things are health, yoga and travel — and when she can combine them, and invite the community, she does.

The co-owner of East Hampton organic market and café, Simply Sublime, is organizing “a yoga retreat of a lifetime” in collaboration with Yoga & Adventures Worldwide. Their destination? Morocco — or, more specifically, Essaouira, a relaxed fishing town on the coast.

“Join me for a trip filled with yoga, incredible food and shopping, sun and fun,” Burke said in an email.

From March 21 to 28, participants will stay for seven nights in a seaside castle-turned-riad, where they will have daily yoga classes and workshops, most meals — including a daily traditional breakfast, four lunches and three dinners, including local wine — and a grounding circle with mint tea and cookies, all activities to “help you refresh, renew and restore your mind, body and spirit,” according to the booking website.

A countryside spa day will include a traditional hamman body scrub, one-hour massage with local argan oil and lunch, and guided outdoor activities range from a group adventure into Marrakech and a camel ride along the coastline.

“This retreat promises to be a fun-filled, spiritual journey that will leave you with memories for years to come,” according to the website.
