Beer Dinner for the Ages at Indian Wells

What do you get when a local tavern teams up with a local brewing company?

A beer dinner for the ages.

On Sunday, February 25, Indian Wells Tavern will host a five-course dinner alongside Montauk Brewing Company, starting at 6 p.m., and reservations are a must. Here’s why.

The first taste is called “Magic Four,” a water, hops, grains, yeast, pork consommé, fresh Cascade hops and barley salad with pancetta and white bean toast, accompanied with Montauk Session India Pale Ale.

The table will enjoy Deviled Eggs with driftwood aioli, chive and beets, served with Montauk Driftwood Ale, and Pork ‘N Beans, prepared with Arrowhead Red Ale braised pork belly and heirloom beans, and eaten with Montauk Arrowhead Red Ale.

Each diner will then choose their buzz: either short rib braised in Double IPA and veal stock with sweet potato gnocchi, pomegranate and fresh hop gremolata, served with Montauk Double IPA, or winter squash and halibut with Wave Chaser Beurre Blanc, parsnip and beets, and served with Montauk Wave Chaser IPA.

Chocolate strawberry stout-infused donuts round out the meal with a Montauk Chocolate Strawberry Stout.

The cost is $75 per person. Indian Wells Tavern is located at 117 Main Street in Amagansett. Current hours are 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and the bar is open late. For more information, please call (631) 267-0400 or visit
