Everybody loves a good bagel, and now, Ess-a-Bagel, the iconic New York City bagel company, has teamed up with the Hampton Jitney to bring its well-known bagels, spreads and other delicacies to the area. Exclusively available through the Hampton Ambassador line, consumers can now ride with their favorite bagel when traveling to the East End. Ess-a-Bagel, considered by many “the best bagels in New York,” recently started delivering to customers in the Hamptons and tri-state area. Aligning with the Hampton Jitney, the well-known luxury transportation company for travel between the Hamptons and New York City, was the next natural step to bring Ess-a-Bagel’s food to even more New Yorkers, wherever they are.
The service began on October 2, and passengers riding on the Hampton Ambassador can now order a wide variety of breakfast items including yogurt parfaits, fruit cups, bagels with various toppings, as well as Ess-a-Bagel’s famous signature sandwich. Orders are placed when riders book a ticket and will be waiting for them as they board. The breakfast box may include a bagel and a schmear, along with a note with a little bagel humor to give them a little chuckle (because everyone needs something to laugh about these days), hand sanitizer, a napkin, bamboo utensils (as needed) and Ess-a-Bagel menus. Additionally, customers can order larger, pre-made, custom packages that will be stored on the bus and ready when they disembark to take to their final destination. Special curated packages were created for the Ambassador line.
Founded in 1976, Ess-a-Bagel has always been a favorite among New Yorkers, who grab breakfast on the way to work or pick up big orders before heading east for the weekend.
