Peter Boody is news editor of The Sag Harbor Express. Previously he was the editor of the Southampton Press for many years and also edited several other papers, including the Shelter Island Reporter and the East Hampton Press, of which he was founding editor. He was a regular correspondent for the New York Times Long Island section and wrote the novel “Thomas Jefferson, Rachel & Me.”
Jeri Moomaw, the founder and executive director of Innovations Human Trafficking Collaborative, based in Olympia, Washington, will be a presenter during two events this week at Stony Brook Southampton aimed at eliminating human trafficking.
On Thursday, September 27, Dan Koontz and his hand-picked posse will kick off the eighth season of the Sag Harbor American Music Festival performing the songs made famous by Sly and the Family Stone at 8 p.m. at the Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor.
