Lovers of the season will appreciate the Southampton History Museum’s upcoming Holiday Party. Titled “Hearthside Cheer: Designer Tree Auction,” the party is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 7. The festive evening at the Rogers Mansion, which was built during Southampton’s Gilded Age, will include food, drinks, music, and a designer tree auction.
Members of Sag Harbor’s Civil Service Union and eight additional employees will receive annual base pay hikes plus 3-percent raises for three years of a new five-year agreement that the Village Board of Trustees approved on Tuesday. For two of those years, salaries will rise by 3 percent but without the base-pay hike.
In the weeks leading up to its reopening, Sag Harbor Cinema (SHC) is presenting “Here Comes the Cinema!” a feast of films celebrating movie houses of all kinds and a tribute to the magic of cinema as a shared experience.
