The Barnes Landing Association will hold its 20th annual “Anna Mirabai Lytton Writers’ and Artists’ Showcase” on Saturday, August 21, from 2:30 to 4 p.m., in the parking lot across the street from the Barnes Landing Association Meeting House, at the intersection of Barnes Hole Road and Waters Edge in Springs.

The showcase features writing, artwork and performance art presented by members of the community. Presenters include Hiroo Dickler Awano, Lisa Dickler Awano, Elena Lesser Brun, Rameshwar Das, Susan Friend, Valerie King, Linda Mergens, Harriet Oster, Kate Rabinowitz, Grace Schulman, Dee Slavutin, Carole Stone, and Michelle Murphy Strada.

This year, due to COVID-19, the event will be held outdoors.

The annual event is coordinated by Lisa Dickler Awano and is named for young writer Anna Mirabai Lytton, a 14-year-old Springs School student who was killed in 2013 when she was hit by a car while riding her bike in East Hampton Village.
