The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center isn’t letting the current pandemic get in the way of a night of music and fundraising. On Saturday, July 25, legendary Jersey Shore rocker Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes bring their big horned bar band sound to Westhampton Beach, in the very first live drive-in concert experience on Long Island to raise funds to sustain WHBPAC.
The band will present two shows, the first at 7 p.m. and the second at 9:30 p.m., and will be performing on the Great Lawn at 35 Main Street, Westhampton Beach. Rock the night away to the Jukes’ classic hits like “The Fever” and “I Don’t Want to Go Home.” Performances are limited to 160 cars. Gourmet food trucks and delivery from Westhampton Beach restaurants will be available. Tickets are $225 or $275, and each ticket permits one vehicle. The event is rain or shine. Guests are required to wear face coverings when they are away from the immediate area of their vehicle.
The lawn will opens 45 minutes prior to concert start times and will be closed 15 minutes after the concert begins. No cars will be admitted after the lot is closed. Vehicles will be spaced 6 feet apart minimum at the direction of our parking staff. Cars with $275 tickets will be between 25 and 40 feet from the stage. Cars with $225 tickets will be between 45 and 60 feet from the stage. Guests will not be permitted to idle their vehicle during the shows, nor will they be permitted to sit on top of their vehicles.
Audio will be transmitted through an FM radio station. If your car is not equipped with a radio, WHBPAC recommend bringing one. You cannot tune into the signal with a smartphone. There will be limited loudspeakers.
