This summer, it’s all about the music. From July through September, the first Hamptons Jazz Fest will present more than 50 concerts at venues from Southampton to Montauk.

Produced and presented by the Jam Session, which presented weekly jazz shows at Bay Burger in Sag Harbor for many years, the concerts are intended to expose East End residents to the diverse world of jazz music. Most of the festival concerts are free and the venues, both indoors and outdoors, include restaurants, libraries, arts organizations and galleries. Cultural diversity and roots of jazz will be celebrated with a lineup of performing artists from the United States and abroad who will present a range of musical styles.

The 2021 lineup includes: Randy Brecker/Ada Rovatti Quintet, Donald Harrison with Curtis Bros, Yacouba Sissoko World Collective, Bill O’Connell Latin-Jazz All Stars with Paquito D’Rivera, Morris Goldberg SafroJazz with Bakithi Kumalo and Diego Urcola, Trio Da Paz & Friends, Godwin Louis Haitian Jazz Project, Ravi Coltrane Quartet, Joel Ross Quintet with Immanuel Wilkins, Conrad Herwig Quintet, Rich Baratta — Music In Film, HipLaJaz with Baba Israel, Baron Lewis, Sheryl Bailey Trio with Ada Rovatti, Caleb Wheeler Curtis Trio, Jon Irabagon Trio, Caroline Davis Duo, Elegant People – Fusion Explosion, Greg Lewis Organ Monk, Olivia Foschi Quintet, Martin Fabricius Quartet with John Pattitucci, Oscar Feldman Quintet, Hector Martignon Banda Grande.
