Andy’s Run For a Guide Dog @ Village of Sab Harbor on the Cove | | |

Enjoy a beautiful run or walk down Sag Harbor’s Main Street business district and then trough historic homes, library, and museums. A right turn to the west passes the upper cove. Runners pass Andy Neidnig’s house and a left turn takes runners into wooded and mildly hilly Redwood neighborhood. Then after looping around Redwood, runners turn north towards the main cove’s waterfront with a view of Lnc Cpl Jordan Haerter bridge on the left as you approach the finish line at the village docks on the left back where you started from.

Free parking is available in the municipal lot. The entrance is on Bridge St. off of Long Island Ave. The lot is close to the registration-start-finish line.

To start the process, register and pay a $25 entry fee donation per runner at andysrun.itsyourrace.com and then on the day of the race bring your receipt and go to the tents and directly to the CHECK-IN line to receive your bib beginning at 7:00 am. Check in ends at 8:15 am.

You may also register on the day of the race for $30 at the “Registration” line. Please provide plenty of time to fill out the entry form.

The Guide Dog Foundation will receive a donation from the proceeds to support the upbringing and training of a guide dog for a visually impaired individual. Ambassadors will be at the race to answer questions about the guide dog program and the foundation. The Sag Harbor Community Food Pantry will also receive a donation towards Holiday groceries.

Porto-potties are available at the east side of the site provided by Norsic Sanitation for your comfort.

All runners will be led to the starting line where the starters gun goes off at 8:30 am.
