Curtain Up! For Bay Street Theater

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts will host its 6th Annual Honors Benefit: Curtain Up! on Monday, May 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Joe’s Pub at the Public Theater in New York City.

Ticket prices range from $150 to $500 and tables of four or more are also available. The evening begins with cocktails and light bites served for Bay Street patrons and their guests followed by a one-hour show at 7 p.m. Bay Street’s Artistic Director, Scott Schwartz, will host the sneak peek of the 2017 Summer Mainstage season with songs and bits of scenes performed and honor special guests, Richard Kind and Jules Feiffer.

Performers and creators of the Mainstage line-up including Tony nominated Andrew Lippa, composer of “The Man in the Ceiling,” will be in the show. Roger Rosenblatt, playwright of “Thomas Murphy,” will be attendance. The world premiere of two songs composed by Academy Award winner Stephen Schwartz from “As You Like It” will also be performed.
